About
Hello! I'm Jodie Hunter, the creative force behind WhoozQueen Wire Jewellery, located in Melbourne, Victoria. Crafting for well over a decade, my artistic journey has resulted in a style that is truly one-of-a-kind.
The allure of WhoozQueen Wire Jewellery lies in its distinctiveness—each piece is a fusion of various techniques, including wirework, watercolours, and unconventional mediums like paper and polymer clay. Influenced by historical architecture, fashion, and nature, the jewellery and other items that I make exudes an eclectic charm that defies traditional categorization. I take pride in the fact that those who acquire my pieces describe them as unique, a testament to the individuality inherent in every creation.
Underlying this uniqueness is the spirit of WhoozQueen, pronounced “Who's Queen”, a playful nod to the irreverent elegance of Queen Elizabeth I from the UK comedy series Blackadder, season 2. The metallic bronze logo, resembling an Elizabethan ruff collar, encapsulates this regal flair that defines WhoozQueen Wire Jewellery.
My mission is to continually evolve my artistic skills, explore new mediums, and enhance the environmental friendliness of each creation. I invite you to explore my diverse portfolio and connect with the exceptional charm of WhoozQueen Wire Jewellery. Thank you for joining me on this journey of creativity!
